Bio

Steve Pomper is a police officer and writer living in the Pacific Northwest. Steve is the author of Is There a Problem, Officer? ACop’s Inside Scoop on Avoiding Traffic Tickets. (The Lyons Press, 2007), and Seattle Curiosities and It Happened in Seattle (The Globe Pequot Press, 2009).  Steve wrote his first book for motorists who want to know how to behave if–when–a cop stops them for a minor traffic violation that may improve their chances of getting a warning. Or at least make them less likely to talk, or act, themselves into a citation. 

His articles have appeared in American Iron Magazine, Stone Magazine, the Seattle Police Officer’s Guild: The Guardian, AmericanDaily.com, TheWashingtonDispatch.com, as well as other webzines. Steve is also an Expert Author at, Ezinearticles.com. Steve has some fiction available at www.amazon.com/shorts including his two most popular stories, Reflections and The Great Rite.    

Steve’s currentlyl looking to place his novel, Two Up, a crime drama with a biker-world backdrop, which follows the adventures of a unique undercover ATF agent. Steve is now busy (between 911 calls) working on two other novels, Shadow Badges and Sleep Realm, both metaphysical action/adventures.

Steve enjoys riding his Harley and lives with his firefighter wife of 30 years.
